I just brought a pair of base layer pants for our first day of deer 🦌 season today. It was only 27 degrees and they worked Awesome!!!! I Got home from hunting and just ordered the top base layer. On a recent project to Alaska where my production team and I faced extreme sub-zero (-17) conditions we turned to Fortress to ensure we would be geared up for a successful production. Tried it out for the first time outside in the morning washing my car in 28 deg F with wind, and i got hot in it after a while. Could not be happier, light weight, comfortable, and not restrictive at all, exactly what i was looking for as a pilot. The planes i fly are not tightly sealed, and the heaters do not work that great if at all, cannot wait to try it out.
Wearing this since the minute it arrived. It is my GO TO cool into COLD weather vest around the house plus outside, layered for cold. SLIM FIT when zipped so order up a size if putting over sweatshirts plus hips. Otherwise, with slim layer like turtleneck under it is a slim fit "true to size".
