I have several "puffy jackets" that I will never use again. This thing is so warm and I don't have to worry about feathers everywhere or freezing when I get wet and sweaty on a hike. Best insulation layer ever!

Truth in advertising

I have a Woolrich jacket that cost me $1,000 a few years ago and took it to Fairbanks, AK and onto the Arctic Circle and it kept me nice and warm but it was bulky and heavy so I did some research and found Fortress. I liked the design of the Glacier jacket so I bought it and the price was definitely reasonable. If it turned out to be a bust, I wasn’t gonna feel bad because I didn’t spend an hour and a leg on it. As it turns out, my Fortress is even better than my old jacket. It keeps me nice and warm and it is not bulky or heavy at all
