I live in WV and an avid ATV/ motorcycle rider. This morning I started my ride at about 5° below zero. I was wearing my Artic Extreme mittens with a wind and waterproof shell from Luke’s Ultralight, no liners. Before the ride began my hands got exposed too long and were almost numb. When I finally got my mittens back on we took off without waiting for my hands to warm up. I was able to warm up my hands while going down the trail at an average speed of around 20-25 mph. To me that was impressive! Our day reached a high of 36° . That was a 40° change in temperature with one pair of mittens! I would recommend this to anyone that’s in the cold a lot.
