It's super light. Comfy, would recommend. It is pricy than most vests I would pay but I can tell the quality will last. Great customer service. Pretty easy to return if sizing is off.

This vest is Ultra light

Im happy with the vest; it's the most stylish Fortress piece i have. i work in a temp controlled room and this gives me the extra warmth i need under my jacket without having another set of sleeves restriction my movement. I used it outside a couple of times and it does provide alot of warmth for something sleeveless.

Almost great

Very warm. Runs on the small size for a medium. Collar is rather tight. With a few improvements it could be great. Did I mention it is very warm.

Great all day vest

Probably the best vest I've owned comfortable on the body thin light and warm good for being in a vehicle all day and working outside

Only drawback would be that the collar is too tall because the vest fits tight it rubs under the chin when zipped up and makes hoods awkward to wear over without folding it down and the material isn't really made to do that properly. Hopefully if there's another version in the future this will be addressed

Snug as a bug. Hot like a furnace.

I grew up in a tropical country, shorts and tank top weather all year round. Moving to Melbourne was a shock to the system. Winter was a rude shock. No matter what I wore, layers upon layers of heat tech, sweaters just never cut it. Chanced upon fortress from some random Shark tank video on YouTube and gave it a chance. Bought the 1/4 Base and the pants. Nothing else has kept me warmer, I dread the days I have to take them off to wash. Has kept me toasty. Love my fortresses

Soft!

These Fortress base layers are amazingly soft and comfortable! They are far superior in comfort in our opinion to the military ecwcs layering system. Plus with Fortress you have less layers vs ecwcs. Also with Fortress you can get soaked wet and still get warm. However with ecwcs primaloft soaked wet...uh oh your in trouble. (same with goose down) We have not tested these yet in the cold, but we remember when we first tried on the ecwcs system before we tested it in the cold. (and the ecwcs works well in the cold) The fortress feels way better in temperature regulation thus far pre cold test vs the ecwcs pre cold test. I have every confidence Fortress will blow away ecwcs in the cold with less layers and more comfort. That’s why we bought the whole family not only one set each of these base pros, but 2 sets! Did I say they are comfortable oh my!
