BasePro 1/4 Zip

I grew up in a tropical country, shorts and tank top weather all year round. Moving to Melbourne was a shock to the system. Winter was a rude shock. No matter what I wore, layers upon layers of heat tech, sweaters just never cut it. Chanced upon fortress from some random Shark tank video on YouTube and gave it a chance. Bought the 1/4 Base and the pants. Nothing else has kept me warmer, I dread the days I have to take them off to wash. Has kept me toasty. Love my fortresses

I met Dale and Devan at the Shot Show. Wow! These guys were very helpful and informative about the Fortress Gear. Enough so, I bought almost every item they were selling. It's the warmest and most comfortable clothing I have ever worn outside and it keeps you surprisingly comfortable inside. You won't be disappointed!

I recently used the BasePro 1/4 Zip, top and bottom, on summit night and for sleeping at night on Kilimanjaro. For the weight it was the smartest article of clothing I brought. Simply put, you get what you pay for! I can't wait to use it on other hikes, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing and especially ice fishing. Heck, I may even wear it around the house in the winter, it's like thermal pajamas on steroids. :)

This is the perfect base layer. It's thin where it needs to be so when working hard your body can breathe and get moisture out, but then has the insulation in the right spot so when you're in the cold and not moving a lot it keeps you very warm.
