BasePro 1/4 Zip Best base layer I’ve ever bought.. Very happy with it. Used it recently to go snowboarding and it felt great; light and comfortable. I used it under a light running windbreaker and it worked great. I was warm and dry the entire time. Temp at the mountain was between 15F and 40F, and at times, under the sun, I even opened the wind breaker and base layer zipper to cool down.. can’t wait to teste it in colder weather.
I am 6”1’, 205lb, and the size L fit perfectly, not too tight and not too loose. It’s not too thick or puffy, so no trouble wearing sporty fit wind breaking layers on top.
I don't like the 'Made In China' and the sizing is way off. I take and XL so I ordered a 2XL as / website instructions, and it's way too small to fit over my base pro. So I would need to have a 3XL which is 2 sizes larger than I take. I live in Canada, so I got charged an additional $42 for duty on top of the exchange rate and shipping charges. So almost $200 CAD for a wind breaker is crazy.
We bought this coat for our son who is serving a mission in Canada. It isn’t bulky, keeps out the wind chill and keeps you warm. I’m not sure what more you could ask from a coat. Also the price point is significantly less then all of the other coats we looked at that can handle a Canadian winter.
Previously ordered a quarter zip BasePro and very pleased but the full zip version is even more versatile as can be fully unzipped as you warm up. Fabulous quality and worth every penny - to me worth the postage cost to the UK.
These products are quite remarkable - just the one layer does it in ANY UK cold weather (which is far from extreme).
